Leon Jackson - Creative

This is apparently going to be his third single, second single of his debut album.

I like this song, but there are far better songs on is album such as 'Stargazing', 'Ordinary Days' or 'Caledonia'.

I think its rubbish personally, its doing awful in the iTunes chart too, oh well not a surprise really.

MarkWaldorf 16-11-2008 10:53 AM

He's so crap. He should never have won.

With Leon you need to be blunt.

Spike 16-11-2008 10:57 AM

Love this song, i'm surprised this wasn't the lead single off the album

rayheartbliss 16-11-2008 11:00 AM

thats actually good!

but i dont think he'l hit #1 with that though! he could reach top 10

but stargazing would be a big hit i think! ^.^

Xander 16-11-2008 11:06 AM

^ It won't I doubt it. It won't be inside top 20.

rayheartbliss 16-11-2008 11:08 AM

fair enough

MarkWaldorf 16-11-2008 11:08 AM

I don't think he'll ever have another hit tbh. The only reason his most recent did OK was because of the plug on XF.

rayheartbliss 16-11-2008 11:09 AM

fair enough!^.^

Just goes to show that even Geraldine beat him.

Rhydian FTW!

pinkmichk 16-11-2008 11:10 AM

:laugh2: And her song had only been around since the night before its release!

rayheartbliss 16-11-2008 11:12 AM

well, even though geraldine was at #2 and leon was #3 at that week, the next week geraldine went down to #40 and leon was still in the top 10!

so he's did better than geraldine's nonsence ^.^

In the UK it debuted at Number 3, ironically being outsold by "The Winner's Song" from the reality show parody Peter Kay's Britain's Got the Pop Factor... and Possibly a New Celebrity Jesus Christ Soapstar Superstar Strictly on Ice, which debuted at #2, behind P!nk's "So What" at #1. The following week the song fell to Number 11 in the UK.

But, both of there songs debut that week and Geraldine beat Leon, so what if it declined, a spoof song still debuted higher than him. Thats why most people were glad that Geraldine got higher then him.
Embarrassing for him.

MarkWaldorf 16-11-2008 11:26 AM

It was a novelty song, lol.

rayheartbliss 16-11-2008 11:27 AM

lol

Arneldo 17-11-2008 09:31 PM

Geraldine beat Leon because (a) it got a **** load of press (b) it was sung by one of the UK biggest and most popular comedians (c) it was written by Gary Barlow and (d) it would have got a load of interest.

I hope Leon can do well with this song, but I doubt it will break top 20 tbh it's a good song, but I don't think Simon cares about Leon anyway. For Simon, the sooner he can drop Leon the better for him. Leon is a great talent with a brilliant voice, and the majority of people would agree with me. He just needs more time.
