but if something which is a complete nonsence is said, i just leave it .

im not sure if they can actually delete accounts

because i read on some thread, another member wanted to delete theirs, but the mods just said if they didnt want to use their account they can just leave it and not log on it! something like that! ^,^

Yeah I agree, no offense, but to start with he was a right twat to some people (However, we proberly spoke more then hehe)

To start with I was so annoying - Always making games (OK, I still do :P), and because of making an enemy with the wrong person, I was hated/bitched up untill about January by most. I hope to think I have changed that now over time.

It's not possible to delete accounts and all the posts from the database without affecting the the site as a whole, so it's not something we do, even in theory it is possible, and in any case we would transfer the warnings to the new account.

The best thing to do is just think before you hit the post button... that way you won't get any more warnings. There are posters with a lot more posts than you that have three warnings to their name. Most of them realised, like you, the mistakes they made and decide to stick within the rules.

The ones that didn't eventually got banned.

Maybe have a name change, and start from scratch. I'm sure no one holds grudges against you from the days when you were a little out spoken.

I agree about the name change, that might be worth a try, and the fact that most people on here tend on the whole to forgive each other quite quickly.

As for the Mods and Admin most of time we forget who we have given warnings too. It not something we bother remembering. There will be something in the tower about them, but since the search engine doesn't work in the tower nobody going to search through pages of incident reports to find out what was or in most cases wasn't said at the time.

Chances are that if you've insulted someone and they still hold a grudge, a new account isn't going to sway their opinion. And I highly doubt that any new members are going to trawl through your posts to see if you've ever said anything nasty.

Just don't see the point, that's all.

It would be good if warnings were dropped from your profile after a set amount of days if a member has been good. That way someone wouldn't have the burden of a warning on their account if they were a 'changed' person.

It something we have been looking at for ages, the problem sometimes is finding the time to actually write the code that does it. It's not a standard modification we can pick off the self and implement as far as I know, but I'll mention it in the towers for you again.

What a lot of people don't realise that this forum is a very customised version of XBM and nearly all of that work has been done by James and Mark.

If there is someone that holds grudge against tries to attack you in a thread the best thing to do is hit the report button, don't even bother to reply. It makes the person starting the fight easier to deal with.

What's the point? With the account gone people will still know what you said? It's more honourable to just make it clear you're sorry and start again without making a new account. You can't make a new account if you act like that for real.
