Alexandra, Ruth and JLS are this years rightful final 3
 

Alexandra has been consistent, Ruth wants it so bad and deserves her place in the final and JLS have been the best X Factor group. They are all marketable and will go far because they'll be able to reinvent themselves unlike Diana. That order is the order they should come in, but unfortunately it isn't going to go that way :sad:

But did you not hear Simon? He told Diana, you were off key but thats what made it good! Told Eghan the same thing!
And it seems the public sees it that way as well!

Diana should win hands down though... Austin and Laura were still in it the whole competition would be changed.

Diana and Eoghan were the worst tonight. The backing track was so loud so you couldn't hear their awful vocals so it sounded like an OK performance!

Nope, Diana and Alex all the way for me. I don't care what anyone says, I am voting for them two, and them two only.

Bar one week Diana has also been consistent and could sell more records than those three.

... in the short term. To be successful in the music industry its all about reinvention, and Diana can't really do that.

Diana has not been consistent, the judges think she has but she hasn't been.

I think it will Go in this order

5th- JLS
4th- Ruth
3rd- Alexandra
2nd- Diana
1st- Eoghan

Um Britney? Porbably one of the biggest stars of all time and has rarely re-invented her self. Rod Stewart? Avril Lavigne? Snow Patrol? Enrique Englasias? I'm just taking these off the top of my head.

Britney and Avril have both reinvented themselves.

Rod Stewart hasn't; he has had many songs that have charted very poorly. Snow Patrol and Enrique Inglesias aren't exactly the most successful of artists in the UK charts.

In my opinion the final 3 should be Alexandra, Ruth and Diana. All very different. All brilliant. JLS have been good but I don't think they are good enough to win. And Eoghan is rubbish full stop.

Exactly. There's a reason why Madonna and Kylie Minogue are still around in the music business.



Unfortunately, the final is going to be Diana, Eoghan and (thankfully) Alexandra. After seeing JLS in the bottom two last night, it's clear they won't make the final. Had it been Ruth vs Rachel last night, it would have been more exciting to see who came 4th (as I expect Ruth will be 5th) but now I think Ruth and JLS will be scrapping for 4th place.

Diana, Alexandra and Ruth please!

I wouldn't be so sure, in series one (where it was between Steve, G4, Tabby and Rowetta) G4 and Tabby had already been in the bottom two, but Rowetta got the least amount of votes.

Either that or I'm getting my hopes up. :laugh:

Haha I wish that would happen, but I tend to consider Series 1 as irrelevant now, because it was so long ago and the X Factor is more popular now than it was then, and people tend to pick a favourite and stick with them instead of voting on who sang the best each week. Nothing underpins that more for me than having the likes of Leon Jackson, Ray Quinn, Same Difference etc. as finalists in recent years.


Also, there's never been a winner of the X Factor who has been in the bottom two before... :(

It's too late. Egg and Diana will win. They could whisper through a performance and still not be eliminated.

But hey ho. They won't have any Longevity, Diana would for a while, but her fans would soon tire of her 'unique voice'. And Egg's girl fans will grow up and grow some taste.


Ruth, Alex and JLS are the ones who could actually have longer careers and higher sales.

Ruth: Could be successful in UK, Spain, Spanish speaking Countries, USA.

Alex: Could be successful here, Australia, New Zealand and possibly USA

JLS: There are no big boybands around at the moment (Take That are too old to be classed as a boyband) and so they would have little competition in that market.

Totally agree with you, I just think it's a shame that our talent competitions are, for the most part, ruled by white teenagers who display some talent but are clearly outclassed by other, better singers. I agree with what you say about Ruth, JLS and Alexandra, they're all very marketable.

The woman who won the celebrity one was in the bottom 2 at one point so it is possible
