I read this article earlier today. I got the feeling he has heard it and doesn't like it but decided to take the tactful route by saying that.

I like both versions a lot, Snow Patrol's is more of an brilliant anthem I think while Leona's is spine-tingling. Both great versions of the song I say.

I agree Dezzy. I like both versions but they can't really be compared to each other, because the styles are so different.

Not necessarily. If you create a song, but don't like the style of the cover, then you wouldn't feel honoured.

i strongly doubt he "hasn't heard it"
if somone coverd my song and it went to #1 in my home country id be listening to it on youtube straight away.
i love both versions but i prefer Leonas version as its more"spine-tingling" as Dezzy said, and the instrumnental suits the song more then the original IMO.
