Robbie Factor Axes Dannii
POP superstar Robbie Williams is set for a comeback – as a new judge on The X Factor.
Show supremo Simon Cowell is planning to ditch “cry-baby” Dannii Minogue and replace her with the former Take That singer. He is holding secret talks with the Robster about joining the judging panel of the hit ITV1 show next year. A source close to Cowell, 49, said: “Robbie is perfect for the job and Simon is confident that he is going to get him to sign. “Dannii has had a good couple of years on the show, but Simon wants to revamp the panel. “Robbie’s cheeky attitude and success in the business make him the perfect candidate.” Robbie, 34, has been in the showbiz wilderness since releasing the album Rudebox two years ago. Now based in Los Angeles, he is planning to release a new album next year. Dannii, 36, has been dogged by rumours of rows with Simon, who has openly favoured new recruit Cheryl Cole, 25. She was left in tears on Saturday’s show following a bitter bust-up with Louis Walsh, 56. To make matters worse, Dannii saw another of her acts, Rachel Hylton, get the axe. http://www.dailystar.co.uk/xfactor/v...r-axes-Dannii/ |
If Simon wants to revamp the show then he needs to get rid of the snide and spiteful Louis.

I don't think revamping the show will do it any good.

I think they should keep the judges but they should no longer have vested interest in who wins hopefully nullifying the tactical voting. Louis has stated that Ruth will never win because she's Spanish. Why then did he save her over Laura? Why save someone who he's sure is not going to win? The tactical voting is so obvious its becoming embarrassing |
I don't see robbie williams as the answer........though it would have been fun to see him being made to give Take That a standing ovation. :hello:
As for Saturday's 'row'......a typical storm in a teacup, orchestrated by louis. Surely he had enough songs to choose from,anyway...... |
They could I suppose have the same thing as on SCD........judges give marks out of ten, then the public vote is combined. Or just go back to 'Pop Idol' days.......not sure either is the answer. On the subject of why he didn't vote to save laura,he said her performance was not good, and anyone in the bottom 2 doesn't stand a chance of winning anyway. Which may come back to haunt him, now...............

What does that tell us? Maybe the winner of X-factor is just as redictable as some as us have been saying. |
Don't replace Dannii, she's good. Get rid of Louis... I'm fed up with his desperate attempts to cause controversy.
|
Dannii needs to go. As a judge, she offers very little. Louis is honest, and damm entertaining "..YES WE CAN!" :thumbs2:

The other week Cheryl made a comment that JLS should make sure Louis doesnt turn them into Westlife. Personally I thought it was a fair enough comment. I dont know if she was having a pop but the point is a very good one as JLS are much more than crooners sitting on a stool only to get up off the stool at the key change. Louis' response was to point out that Westlife had had more hits than Girl Aloud. Personally, I didnt see what that had to do with the point Cheryl was trying make. Its that kind of snide sniping that makes Louis virtually unbearable on the panel. |
