Banner help

Anyone got any programme i could use to make banners?

And any tips on how to make them look good?

Photoshop is a good program but is costs quite a bit, worth every penny though.

I use PS CS3 and the RRP is around £500 =/
I got it free thought but the crack was taken down :sad:
