Britney\'s extreme demands for X Factor performance

Britney's extreme demands for X Factor performance
TThe Britney Spears Circus is rolling into town - and making clowns of the X Factor bosses behind her UK comeback.

Britney, 26, will be the special guest on Saturday's show - her first live gig here in over four years. But her long list of diva-ish demands is already causing ructions.

The finalists have been BANNED from watching Britney perform from the side of the stage, as they've done with the other acts, including Take That.

In other ridiculous demands the hopefuls, including Diana Vickers, Eoghan Quigg, Alexandra Burke, JLS and Ruth Lorenzo, are not allowed backstage when Brit is about. And no one - not even the judges - can have a photo taken with her or get an autograph.

Our insider reveals: "To say it is over the top is an understatement. That not even Simon Cowell or Cheryl Cole can ask for pictures with her is beyond belief.

"The studio has been in lockdown since yesterday in preparation for Britney's arrival."

Security has been TRIPLED. Instead of the usual 15 burly minders, there will be 45.

Our spy adds: "It is completely silly. No one has seen anything like it, not even when Mariah Carey was on the show. Britney has ordered the use of three dressing rooms. Mariah only wanted two.

"But it was a coup to get Britney at all, so they're pandering to her every whim. Simon finds it all hysterical."

Also, Britney will NOT be teaching a masterclass to the finalists.

We hear: "They are gutted, so they were each treated to £1,000 worth of freebies, including ghd hair stylers, and were practising their high notes on their PlayStation 3 SingStars."

Unaware of all the fuss, Britney sang at last night's Bambi Awards in Offenberg, Germany - where Karl Lagerfeld gave her the gong for Best International Pop Star.

We do hope the success doesn't, er, go to her head.

How the hell? :conf: Do you realise how much security she needs? Hence "I feel like a prisoner"

She wouldn't have made these demands. Her management probably would have. That's if they're even true.

How much security does she need in a heavily guarded studio?

It's been tripled from 15 to 45 bodyguards on site.

GiRTh 28-11-2008 09:11 AM

Nobody needs 45 bodyguards. Theres no way she can justify that. It looks llike she's still as crazy as ever.

EDIT: In fact I dont think Barack Obama has 45 bodyguards and there are people who are genuinely trying to get at him

MarkWaldorf 28-11-2008 09:14 AM

Wtf! Her management would have requested it! And 45 bodyguards won't be around her at once. On site. She's undoubtly one of the biggest celebrities on the planet and with that comes no privacy. It's going to be a circus (no pun intended) when she arrives here.

That remark had nothing to do how with much security she needs:

Article - Britney: My new life is worse than jail

Her management would have requested it eh? OKAY then. Its strange how nothing is ever her fault. Even when she apparently makes diva demands, they must have come from her management. I think its unfair the way they stitch her up all the time by making those demands on her behalf.

Did I say it did? I meant it in the context where she can't feel free and is constantly guarded by people.

I don't read all those bad articles that you seem to enjoy posting.

This is exactly why I haven't been replying to any Britney news threads. People always start on her for no reason. Just because something is printed on a website in no way makes it true. And yes, they would have seeing as her management run her business trips and so on. :conf2:

I'm not arguing with you over Britney Spears. You can call her dumb or what ever but I'm not going to react to it anymore just like you want me to.

\PJ/ 28-11-2008 09:23 AM

They say this about everyone.

People would 'start' on anyone who made demands like that. You act like people on here are out to get at Britney.

MarkWaldorf 28-11-2008 09:33 AM

How do you even know they're true? She's so down to earth and I doubt she'd say NO ONE can see her backstage.

They are really - well some people. Insulting her with any given chance. Didn't you call her dumb and crazy? What reasons do you have for that aside from reading an article from a tabloid. You know nothing about her apart from what you read in the papers. When you've met her and have proof she's dumb and crazy come back to me.

I have also seen her interviewed and she definitely isn't the sharpest tool in the box. I cracked up at her comments on the documentary 'Farenheight 911' She didn't have a clue what she was being asked.

She was a republican and said she supported Bush? What's the problem? :puzzled:

I only had to guess as to who made this thread.

It was bit of a wasted question on her. What she actually said was - while chewing gum - that we should trust our President and asked if she trusted this President she blankly replied 'Yes, I do'.

Great answer Brit.

I'd blame the Mirror for the article..... don't shot the messenger if you don't like the message.

TBH, I'm pleased that Britney has come back from the very dark place she was in before. I have more time for her now than I did have, I think a lot of people have. However, it's a shame the x factor finalists can't meet her, and the security seems way over the top if it's 3 times more than Mariah!! Anyway, still wish her all the best. She's been thru the mill..............

Red Moon 28-11-2008 11:09 AM

I can see why she needs the security, the press will be all over the place, although I do feel it is excessive, but not meeting the contestants, allowing them to watch or even be back stage while she is about is over the top.

Who does she think she is, some kind of God?

GiRTh 28-11-2008 11:12 AM

Not meeting the acts or doing a masterclass is very selfish. But then again, her management probably decided all of that without consulting her. They make all these selfish decisions for her that put her in a bad light then leave her to take all the criticism from the public. The b*stards.

Very true, at the moment her manger and her father seem to be running her life. That is why she feels like she is a prisoner and thinks has no freedom.

I do feel for her it can't be easy for her at the moment. I get the impression that this comeback stuff isn't really what she wants to do, more it's being forced on her. I don't think she is ready for it yet.
