Does anyone know the name of this type of puzzle?
 

This is hard to describe without an example, and I can't give you one without knowing the name (frustrating much!?)


However, I'll try my best! There is a passage of text and a cross reference table in the puzzle, normally the table will be set out in a sort of F shape? So it's like:

And in each "-" (section) there are 5 columns and rows, where you can either tick or cross the boxes, based on the information you get in the passage.

For example, it might be about a rich man who buys five different cars, in different colours, made in different countries and with different number plates, and you would have to work out which car was in which colour, which country it was made in and which number plate it had.




That's probably really hard to follow, but hopefully somebody knows what I mean! Do you know what they are called? I really fancy doing one right now haha.
