Barlow: Robbie will eventually join us - New Article Added

Gary Barlow has hinted that he expects Robbie Williams to eventually rejoin Take That.

The pair have recently been working on rebuilding their friendship after Williams quit the band in 1995.

"As long as we're alive people are going to ask if we're going to get back together and I do believe we will one day, I just don't know when," he told The Guardian.

"The five of us were together a lot over the summer and it just felt like we were back in the 1990s."

Barlow revealed that the band members have all kept up regular contact with Williams, saying: "I get an email every week from Rob, Mark gets one every other week, J [Jason Orange] phones him once a week ... It's really fun getting to know him again, I must say."

Take That are currently heading for number one with latest album The Circus, with midweek sales figures showing that they are "massively outselling" Britney Spears's new LP.

I wouldn't mind him recording a single with them, but that's as far as he should get to a reunion with them. He's better off as a solo artist.

Owen: Robbie return would be a surprise

Mark Owen has claimed that Robbie Williams would most likely only return to Take That as a last-minute surprise.

The singer suggested that Williams would probably reunite with the group on the spur of the moment and without much planning.

"With Rob, it would be unannounced. I've a feeling halfway through the show we might get a message to say that he wanted to come on stage and sing," he said.

Speculation last month suggested that Williams is to rejoin Take That on their An Audience With... Christmas TV special.

why cant they just get along as friends now without the media making up what is frankly rubbish it aint gonna happen too much has gone on in the past and a long time has elapsed plus both tt and robs styles have changed over that time so even i they were to it just wouldnt work

Scarlett. 04-12-2008 04:43 PM

Aye, Rob and TT are mates again, getting back together would ruin it again

Its just the media, and according to them, Robbie is a gorilla who likes chasing aliens, who has a tatto that will summon them to earth (no joke )

pinkmichk 04-12-2008 05:26 PM

not forgetting a total recluse according to the press

Scarlett. 04-12-2008 05:28 PM

Aye despite the fact that he has come back over to Britain
