I don't particularly like Dido's version either; but I was referring to the vocals rather than the song - since that's the only main thing the contestants can control on the night.

I think her vocals were below par.

i think if the original was sung by someone like tina turner for instance. then maybe the comments here maybe nicer. unfortunately. i will say didos is better. and im supporting diana completely. but i appreciate quality singing. dianas performance tonight of white flag. was not as good as didos. but not bad enough to affect tonights result. she shall get through. youll see.

I'm not comparing Diana to Dido. I'm simply commenting on Diana's vocals. They were horrible.

She'll get through because of her fanbase, not her voice.

I vote on voice, and Diana was brilliant tonigt :thumbs: she is back! let's face it, whatever Diana sings some people will moan and groan, Diana was great tonight, she oput her heart and soul into.

I honestly hated her vocals tonight, moreso than some of the other weeks. But I think me and you have said the opposite thing to each other EVERY week now, so we'll have to agree to disagree :laugh:

If it were down to her vocals alone she would have gone 5 weeks ago, maybe even earlier, she's been the weakest link for a long time.. but, unfortunately its votes that count.

Diana murdered both her songs. She was screechy and out of tune.

but youve heard didos version. you may not like it that much. but her great performance sticks in your mind. thats the trouble. something we cant get away from. comparisons.
