Radio 1 vs Radio 2
 

Which do you prefer?

I prefer Radio 2 by a mile and here is my reasoning;
Radio 1 DJ's have become WAY too full of themselves Chris Moyles, Scott Mills ect. Since when were DJ's supposed to be treated like celebrities? I know that Terry Wogan ect are celebrities but they have done other things on TV ect. I think Chris Moyles has become way to big for his boots and the same old stuff in the morning gets repetetive.
Music -- Radio 1 plays the same stuff all the time, all Top 10 chart stuff all the time. {except at night } They only play current chart music {I sound like Darenn :hugesmile:} Whereas Radio 2 play old music, current music and unrealeased songs more regualary than Radio 1.
I actually find the DJ's on Radio 1 really annoying Edith, Annie Mac, Chris Moyles ect. Terry Wogan, Chris Evans and Sarah Kennedy ftw. I sound like a 60 yr old now :laugh:

Radio 1, I think
Radio 2's jingle is stuck in me head though :mad:

I think they should actually switch it over so all the Radio 2 stuff on Radio 1 vice versa.
It gets more listeners I think..

Radio 2 = for old people

Although I LOVE Radio1..
I prefere Radio2...
I'm an eighty year old at heart and Radio1 never plays good old classics.
I just wish they would play ONE Bob Dylan song... that is all I ask.. EVER!

I think I prefer Radio 2's music, but I always end up on Radio 1 for some reason, switching content round would be a good idea

Radio 1 but I agree about some of the DJ's being too big-headed. Chris Moyles is the most irritating man the world has ever come across, I would never listen to that pig, I find him revolting and he's a bully. I hate how it's mostly chat all the time on his show too. I hardly listen to Radio 1 anymore though because the music selection is rubbish, I always here Alesha Dixon - The Boy Does Nothing constantly on there.

Well they both like Take That,I only ever really listen to the Chart Show and whenever my boys are on the radio though. Cos it's all the hassle internet radio.

niether i only listen to my local station cos it plays stuff from 80s right through to now
