Take That have reportedly pulled out of their appearance on this Saturday's X Factor final.

The band apparently refused to perform after discovering that recently reformed boyband Boyzone would also be present.

A source told The Sun: "Take That are huge fans of X Factor, especially Gary Barlow. He feels a real affinity with the show and loves encouraging new talent. When they heard Boyzone were on the bill they decided not to do it. It’s really upset the schedule."

Beyoncé, Seal and Duffy will also be performing with the finalists.

Earlier reports suggested that the group had refused to appear after discovering that recently reformed boyband Boyzone would also be present.

However, a spokesperson for Take That said that the band was "never confirmed" and "never scheduled" to appear.

The representative told Gigwise that the group will be in Europe this weekend as part of a pre-arranged promotional tour.

An X Factor spokesperson commented: "There is no truth to the reports today, we would absolutely love to have Take That back on the show, but we have always been aware that the band have other commitments in Italy that night so have never been available to perform in the final."

Boyzone will only be there because Louis probably got them on discount or something

I highly doubt they pulled out because of Boyzone,it was probably a very logical explanation.

Thanks for putting it in the original post David! I knew that was too divaish(or whatever the guy version is) to be true.

Take that wouldnt have been likely to do that, but since their in italy pre booked its just another person trying to make some money with a story obviously.
