what do ye do if you're friend is going out with someone, and you make friends with the person they're going out with, and then, they split up? but you want to stay friends with the person the've split up with?

It's not too bad..all my friends are always falling out with each other and going out with each others ex's etc.

I don't see why you couldn't remain friends with both, just not necessarily at the same time. I mean not to meet up together. I'm not making any sense am I? :whistle:

Just avoid becoming a criticizer-criti-criti-criticizer and you'll be fine. One friend'll probably bitch about the other one (depending on who dumped who) for a while, so just be understanding and keep contact with the other one to a minimum, over MSN or whatever, and then when your friend gets over it you can start hanging out with your new friend more often. :D
