DIANA Vickers has not yet been approached for a record deal since being voted off the X Factor.

And it has been revealed that the singer will make a special appearance in Lancashire.

The 17-year-old from Accrington continued her whirlwind of media appearances on the BBC1 Breakfast show yesterday, where she said no recording offers had yet been made.

She again denied rumours of a romance between her and fellow contestant Eoghan Quigg.

The former Westholme pupil told presenters she was looking forward to a tour with eight finalists and said she would be under contract until January.

She said: “No one has signed me up yet.

“I don’t know what’s going to happen but I’ll find out in January.”

When asked who she thought would win the X Factor, she praised all three remaining con-testants and said she could not pick one.

On Monday Diana will make a private appearance at X Factor sponsor the Carphone Warehouse in Preston where she will meet staff and speak to members of the media.

Diana had been due this week to give a concert in King William Street, Blackburn, had she won through to the final.

The event was cancelled but council bosses still hope to arrange a special appearance.

Really well she made it to Week 9 out of 10, obviously the public disagree

Some of the public like her. You can't base her talent on the distance she went on the show. After all, not all of the finalists are talented, and some of the really talented people have been voted off already.

Well obviously its not all based on talen after all Eoghan and JLS made the final...but Diana is way more talented than them 2 and no one says that they voted her out of popularity either

I think she will get a record deal, theres a gap in the market for summat different, when shes on form shes good man ill just add FACT aswell as you all are!:spin:

The thing is she already has a contract with the programme and until they tell her she can accept record deals and simple Simon doesn't want her, there is not much she can do.

She is obviously gonna get a contract with Simon. he believed in Diana, and I think she has a good recording voice. on hero, the couple of lines she had were pretty good. i just dont think she can sing live, and if she get good vocal coaches, she can remedy that.

The only albums id buy would be Diana's and possibly austin.

If rachel got one diana should as rachel was awful.

no one can sign her because shes under contract with the x-factor
