£20 MILLION X FACTOR WINNER - EOGHAN & CO TO MAKE £20M STASH
MITTEN Eoghan Quigg will be The X Factor’s biggest winner tonight – even if he fails to land the top prize.

All three finalists are set for stardom.

And industry experts reckon they will generate £20million between them over the next 12 months.

But Simon Cowell has special plans to cash in on the chubby 16-year-old’s romance with axed singer Diana Vickers, 17.

The music guru, 49, intends to turn them into Britain’s answer to High School Musical lovebirds Zac Efron, 21, and Vanessa Hudgens, 20.

Cowell hinted at his plans for Eoghan and Diana when he said: “They’re just a pair of kids in love.”

Insiders claim he is so excited at the prospect of working with the young pair he could not resist letting letting it slip.

A source on the show revealed: “He and everyone at X Factor believe Eoghan and Diana can be huge because they have really captured the public’s imagination.

“Americans have long gone for this sort of thing, with the likes of Britney and Justin and now High School Musical. It’s time that we in Britain had our own version.

“We’ve had solo acts and groups but never a genuine boyfriend and girlfriend. They’ll appeal to both girls and boys.”

Eoghan revealed that, win or lose, he will follow his music dream – and will not be returning to school at St Patrick’s in Dungiven, Derry.

He said: “I really want to do this. I went back to school last week and I was mobbed – it was great! But I don’t want to go back into class now. I want to have a career in music.

“I’m the youngest person in the history of the show to take part in the finals and I’m the only Irish person ever to make it to the finals. That’s a really big thing for me.”

Tonight’s final is set to be the closest ever.

But JLS have attracted more money in the final week than any other act in the show’s history, according to Ladbrokes.

The group – now at 9-4 from 9-2 on Monday – have been the target for more than 80% of last-minute wagers. But Alexandra Burke, 20, is odds-on 8-13 fave, with Eoghan at 9-2.

Alexandra’s mum has spoken of her determination to make her daughter’s big night despite being critically ill with liver failure and a chest infection.

Melissa Bell, 44, said: “I can hardly breathe but the only way I wouldn’t be there for Alex is if I’m in a coma.”

Simon Cowell revealed there have been 500,000 advance orders for the X Factor single Hallelujah, even before anyone knows who has won.
