Sinitta to be \'X Factor\' fitness guru
 

Sinitta has claimed that she will work as X Factor's exercise and diet guru in 2009.

The ex-popstar, 40, said that her new role as a fitness instructor for the contestants would aid judges Cheryl Cole, Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh.

"I was really hounding Simon because I'm not going to be a judge," she told New! magazine.

"But everyone thinks it's a great idea because it's what I'm doing anyway - including with the judges.

"The only judge who doesn't need any help is Dannii because she's conscientious and does Power Plate, but Cheryl, Simon and Louis are useless!"

The 'So Macho' singer also revealed that she used to lock herself in the house because of concerns over her own weight.

"There was a time when I couldn't leave my house if I was over eight stone," she said. "I wouldn't even go to someone's house for dinner, because I felt fat.

"I don't know if that was just with the pressure of being in the limelight, but I had to be eight stone to feel good about myself."
