Argh! The shops were so packed today I felt like knocking someone out :joker:

I thought it was because everyone is throwing out the boxes from Christmas :joker:

Or putting the dec's back in em!

tesco was crazy didnt venture anywhere else though

I tend to give boxing day shopping a miss TBH as it is so busy and does kind of define the words "boxing day" lol

I find "Boxing Day" strange...
But I still do think he was in love with boxes... its the only explaination.. obv.

So whats the real reason its called Boxing Day? Because I am none the wiser reading this thread. Serious question BTW. I have no clue

Boxing is the day we are meant to give boxes of presents to the poor... which is funny because its a total contradiction because its the day everyone goes out and buys stuff for themselves. A giving holiday has turned into the most selfish.

Oh mann!! Thanks for that! I was way off, LOL! My guess was maybe in the past, it was a day where they had boxing matches. You learn something everyday then!

Boxing day is for getting over the day before.... I couldnt imagine shopping.

The whole Christmas things has its roots in the Bible but noone cares about that anymore, so any true meaning of the days has gone :joker:
