Bruce is getting knighted in 2009.

Chris Hoy's knighthood is fair enough but if they give him one then they should give one to Ben Ainslie too.

Brucie misses out again. Some people speculate that the campaign to get him the knighthood is the reason why he's being passed over every year. Heaven forbid the powers that be actually give the public what they want.

I can't believe Liz Smith (nana Royle) is only getting an MBE whereas some athletes unheard of until this year are getting OBE's and higher

I'm quite surprised Cheryl Cole isn't up there tbh. I don't really think she deserves one but I ws half expecting her to be on the list after the impact shes made this year.

EDIT: Looking at the Sunday Times Rich list, quite a few entrpreneurs have been knighted so I suppose its only right that he be awarded too.
