New Years Honours List???

who would you reward with an honour??
and should have chris hoy that cyclist have been knighted?
and why wont they give brucie a knighthood?

Firewire 31-12-2008 10:09 AM

Bruce is getting knighted in 2009.

GiRTh 31-12-2008 10:12 AM

Chris Hoy's knighthood is fair enough but if they give him one then they should give one to Ben Ainslie too.

Brucie misses out again. Some people speculate that the campaign to get him the knighthood is the reason why he's being passed over every year. Heaven forbid the powers that be actually give the public what they want.

Lewis. 31-12-2008 10:17 AM

I think Alexandra burke should be knighted

Hello mate. Welcome back.

There was a campaign to give Bob Paisley and Brian Clough posthumous knighthoods but once again the powers that be didnt give the public what they wanted. I agree that Ferguson hasnt achieved as much.

Tom 31-12-2008 11:54 AM

Bruce will get one when he quits Strictly

cant think of anyother reason:puzzled:

I'm quite surprised Cheryl Cole isn't up there tbh. I don't really think she deserves one but I ws half expecting her to be on the list after the impact shes made this year.

I like him too but why should he get a CBE over any of the other Dragons?

EDIT: Looking at the Sunday Times Rich list, quite a few entrpreneurs have been knighted so I suppose its only right that he be awarded too.
