R2-D2 backs Verne to win

The actor who plays R2-D2 in the Star Wars franchise has pledged his support to Verne to win Celebrity Big Brother.

Writing for The Sun, Kenny Baker said: "I'm watching Big Brother because Verne is on it. I hope he wins. His appearance raises awareness, and anyone flying the flag for little guys must be good."

Despite his support, Baker, who stands at 3ft 8in, went on to express sympathy for Verne’s smaller stature at 2ft 8in. "I feel a bit sorry for Verne because he is so small. But he has achieved a lot."

I understand where this guy is coming from. However, as I myself am not a midget, I wont be voting like many people based JUST on the fact that he is small, which is silly. One Heath Ledger speech and a fantastic Coolio piss take is not enough to win me over!
