Desperate Mutya Buena pleaaded to leave Big Brother
Former Sugababe Mutya Buena begged bosses to let her leave Big Brother a week before she finally stormed out of the house.

The single mum – upset by rapper Coolio’s crude advances – had a string of heart-to-heart meetings with producers and a doctor who persuaded her to stay. She also complained about being bored and was given sleeping pills after saying she wasn’t able to get any proper rest.

On Friday night the 23-year-old singer dramatically quit the house soon after fellow housemate Tina Malone, 45, was evicted.

A show insider said: “BB producers pulled out all the stops to keep her in there.

"Eventually though, she just couldn’t handle it any more. The show has definitely lost a bit of an edge now that she’s gone.”

Meanwhile Coolio, 45, tried to stir up another race row – after claiming Ulrika Jonsson did not like the black people in the house – despite the fact that she has not displayed any racist behaviour or used any racist language there.

In scenes that were cut from the show, he claimed the TV star doesn’t like either him or La Toya Jackson – the only two black people in the house.

Ex-boyband star Ben Adams has also come under fire after he said he would sing for the racist British National Party at one of its rallies.

A BB spokesman last night said: “Who Ben Adams performs for is a matter he has to decide for himself.

“Ulrika Jonsson certainly hasn’t been showing any kind of racist behaviour at all. Coolio was just expressing his opinion.

“Mutya has seen a doctor twice. I can’t comment on whether or not she was prescribed sleeping pills.”

She'll be the Jodie Marsh of this series, blaming the producers for everything wrong with the world.

they are particulary edited Foolio out now, just to avoid anything. Now hes playing the race card, but instead of doing what they should do BB choose not to show it.

And again in the h/ls tonight you could clearly tell more happened with Foolio than they showed
