What Job do you/Did you want to have when you are/were older?

My ultimate job would be a recording artist.. I once went to a studio, to record a few songs of my own, just for fun and some Backing vocals for some artists that never even got signed, but i am working on a demo.. Writing songs and stuff.. It is gonna take about a year to put together.. i started a few months ago and have got 3 songs at the moment.. I am aiming for about 10/12


If i cannot get into the music bussiness, i would love to be a magazing editor. my predicted GCSE grades for English are both A Star, so realisticly i could get the grades to do it

I want to be Actor/TV Presenter. But I am also good at writing songs, so I might go with that. I write books and scripts too.

My dream job would be a TV Presenter. But I have never and don't plan to go to a theatre school.

I want to be a Doctor or a recording artist.

I'm going through phases. Last year I considered RAF, plane mechanic, pilot, lawyer, teacher then so far this year its been psychologist and fireman :joker:

I have no idea

I always wanted to be a holiday rep... maybe someday :rolleyes:

I'm on a Media course at College right now which can lead onto many things, but plan on dropping out of it next year. Not sure what course I'll move onto.

I would like to get in to the promotions side of large cooperations, so something in the Marketing and Advertising field.

I would also quite like to be a editor for a cooperation.

I'm not sure. I'm thinking legal secetary/ air hostess atm. Both completely different :laugh2:

Designer, Fashion Designer, Photographer, basically I'm happy with anything in the Fashion/Art buisness.

Id like to work in magazines so maybe a media jounralist. But id also love to do some story writing or maybe work as a photographer :)

Nah being more detailed, I want to really act on west end on the comedy strip. Preferably doing some devised/impro comedy. Changing it every night, I also really want to do children's theatre as I recently did some and working with a child audience is SOO much fun. But on the side from acting I also have a dream to set up my own small private drama school for kids in my home town. There is nothing here people can act in besides a religious drama group, i want to get everyone in the world to do acting, because i have seen how its changed peoples lives, even if they have no desire to be an actor, the confidence boost makes all the difference. It would be nice to return to my home town better off and make the town a better place, maybe creating a theatre to improve the community.

I have loads of stuff to do before I die, don't get me wrong, there is more to me than just acting. Primarily I want to entertain, but later in my life I want to show everyone what I have done and how they can do it. Because there are people who have done it for me, and they are an inspiration for me :)

Isit hard to get into the business. I mean I didhave a part registered to HollyOaks, but it got cancelled out and with it so did my agent. So has it become harder to get into acting or something since.

Its extremely hard to get into acting, but thats for people who are in it for the wrong reasons. I am doing it to entertain, I don't want to be famous and be a superstar and be rich. I want to make people cry and laugh and leave the theatre a new person. If you go into acting wanting to be famous (such as going on hollyoaks) then its rare you will make it, there is no career after hollyoaks, no body wants you.
It depends on who you are, if you are good looking it helps, if you are a boy it helps, and if you are black it helps. The best person to be is a young male black actor, as there isn't many decent ones. Worst person to be is a young blonde white female, you will never make it... too much competition. Also it matters if you can sing and dance aswell as act, also playing an instrument or having special skills like stagecraft help.

If you want to be an actor go for theatre acting, not tv acting, the chances of you making it are slim. And you have to be dedicated, I give up my whole social life for my career. So no going drinking every weekend, its 24/7. If you were on my facebook you would see my status constantly being about work.

Oh, I've had two theatre parts before, and I could sing, until I started smoking. I have had more parts on TV than stage, and would want to be more a TV actor. However, I wouldn'tpass at anything else. I don't wantto be famous, although I wouldn't mind give or take, it gives me a buzz to act and be someone you ain't.

Something to do with sport probably, whether that be football refereeing, playing (unlikely) or coaching.

Not sure yet, I am going to work in a holiday camp but location and stuff hasn't been decided. In talks with an agent. I was going to go to Camp America but I cant afford the deposit =/

A paedriatic nurse or if that fails a primary school teacher,I want to work with children. Hopefully I'll marry a rich doctor,have loads of kids and not have to work at all,lol!
