Money / Job Hunting / Cars

I am sick of looking for jobs ive been loking for at least 4 months now.

and its becoming tiresome i need money lol.
Problem is i am trying to mainly get a job in car sales... which isn't going well.

So now i have a problem, I kinda of need a car to branch out with my job hunting, but i only have 4.3k and my car costs 7.3k...Parents wont lend me the money, and grandparents wont lend me it until i have a secure job.. so i need a job to get a car to get a job.

Its a horrible cycle and im generally sick of looking for jobs...

Thought id have a little rant (=

My heart bleeds for you! You poor thing only having £4,300 for a car at 17 years of age!

Fom 27-01-2009 07:23 AM

Dude feel privileged! I am struggling to get together £100 for audition funds, if I had £4k I would be over the moon!

tbh your gonna struggle with a car related job at the mo esp as one of the steel companies cut jobs yesterday i think if you really want a job now your gonna have to go for something like tesco cos it seems the supermarkets are the only real safe bet job wise at the moment
also i know you want a certain car but why not get a cheap runaround now then upgrade when you have a job and can save more money i wish i had 4 grand then i wouldnt struggle to keep my house warm and food on the table

idk why you're struggling for a car :\ You can get loads of second hand ones for under a grand, sure, may not be great but it may do for now.

Job hunting I can sympathize with because I've been looking for a year andd 3 months now, and still have nothing :\

Money I hate. I literally get about £10/£20 for lunch a week from my parents to make up for my lack of EMA [they still havent contacted me, I'm owed everything from September atm] which I save up and I now have like.. £120 from the last few months :|

Have you tried putting your name down at the Job Centre or uploaded your CV to those job search websites?

I almost got a job at a call center, glad I refused the offer and went back to college. People get drawn by money so much... I would rather get paid in shoe strings and love the job I do than do a boring job that pays loads.
