Britain's pig farmers are going out of business and we are in danger of losing domestic pork production, Jamie Oliver wants to find out why.

It was quite harrowing at times. The bit where they cut off the tail then castrated the little piglet was very difficult to watch, as was the slaughter of pig in the abbatoir.

The show was a real eye opener for me.

I must admit I was hoping for an actual food fight between Oliver, Ramsay, the Heston guy and the Hugh guy, but it's good to see they're doing good things.

i watched this and its the only show i havent actually minded as much (in terms of the others bit bad timing given the recession and some people cant afford free range organic meat my self included)
yes it was a bit icky the bits like castration but i still watched it if i'm gonna be a meat eater then i think its only right to know the process
