The Parts Are Cast - Kitten not pleased

The Parts Are Cast

Last night the cast gathered in front of Panto Director, Chris, to be allotted their parts, but not everyone was pleased with the news.

Chris started by telling Marco that he was the Fairy Godmother and Victor that he was Buttons the cat.

He then told Mel that she was to play Prince Charming with "lots of leg and lots of striding about".

And it was this that Kitten was not happy about.

"******, ********r," she said standing up and striding about, insisting that she wanted to play Prince Charming and that that was the part she'd auditioned for.

"You're Dandini," Chris told her.

"I don't WANT that part, he's DIPPY," snapped Kitten.

"It's a good part, like Baldrick," insisted Chris, before getting on with the job at hand.

"Spencer [you're] Jordanne and Tim [you're] Jodey," the Panto Director told the lads, causing them to shake hands and grin at their appointment as the ugly sisters.

Narinder and Nick were also chuffed with their roles: the evil stepmother Baroness Hardup and dodgy dad Baron Hardup.

Chris then went on to the lead role of Cinderella.

"We have two terrific auditions for Cinderella and I can't decide," he told Anouska and Jade, "I want to rehearse with both of you to see. Either one could play the part."

Hearing this, Kitten had a few more words to say regarding her failure to bag the role of Prince Charming and it instead going to Mel.

"Why can't you do that with other people?" she wanted to know.

But, Chris wasn't to be drawn in to an argument and more or less ignored the question.

"I know why you haven't given me the part, it's because you think I'm not pretty enough," Kitten ranted.

"It's not to do with anything of the kind, I'm looking at personalities who can play that part," Chris responded calmly.

"Yeah, cos I'm a really dippy person," grumped Kitten, looking suitably annoyed.

As Jade and some of the others started to back Chris up and reason with Kitten, it just fired her up even more.

"****** off... can you just give me a break" she yelled, and with that she left the room.

Good to see some things never change.

Jade gets Cinderella:bored::bored:
I knew she would:bored:

What a surprise Jade is Cinderella. Though I've yet to come across anyone who less fits the normal version of Cinderella than Jade.

I can't BELIEVE Jade got the Cinderella part . Surely she would have been more suited to play one of the ugly sisters.

Poor Anouska. What have the BB viewers got against the girl? She would have been absolutely perfect for the role. The viewers voted her out of 'BB snore' (big mistake) and now they've robbed her of the chance to play Cinders prefering the role to be played by a thick, overweight, inarticulate saaf Laandoner :bored:.

And did anyone see Kitten's audition for the Prince? She dressed like one of the homeless, stood slumped, slurred her words whilst repeatidly looking down at her script for the next line. It was the most unconvincing performace of a Prince you'd ever see! But why is she appearing in a play that centres around the Aristocracy anyway? I would have thought such a play would have appalled her. Not surprisingly the lure of a big, fat cheque was too good to turn down.

I wonder what Anoushka will get to play now.
She was so much better at it than Jade and I thought when he was complaining about her dancing she was very good:mad::mad:
he didn't seem to notice that Jade can't dance at all:bored::bored:
I think it was fixed from the start.
As for Kitten the little bit we've seen of her acting so far I think she maybe should have played something with no lines at all.She was terrible:bored:
So ar the only ones that seem to be getting on with it without moaning are Mel and Spencer.

As has been said by the others, it was always obvious Jade was going to play Cinderella. Why they dragged it out I dont know, possibly because Anoushka would have made a better job of it and they wanted it to look like they had been fair and it wasnt their fault Jade got it? The part was written for Jade. Lets just hope she gets down to it and actually learns the words.

As Rach says, the only ones who are being professional are Mel and Spencer. The others are too busy trying to raise their 'celebrity' profile. The screaming match between Marco and the dancing coach made me LOL last night. It must be awful for someone who takes the thing seriously to have to turn that lot into a half decent panto cast.
