they only got to #1 because all their old fans bought the CD,not caring abouit how **** the song was.they got to #15 on the download chart which proves it didnt deserve #1.Poker Face should be #1!

People bought it because, like all of U" song, it's fantasitc. The greatest band in the world, and the biggest thing to come out of Ireland since ... well, Dana or sombody.

But, lets us not forget Six. They lasted a week but still hold the record for highest record sales in Ireland. The single had to be restocked very 30 minutes!

Their new song is utter tripe, no wonder it's been a flop in the UK. The Irish just got behind them because Bono is from Ireland.

U2 are awful. Clearly their music now takes a back seat and people buy their songs because of who they are, a bit like what has happened to Madonna over the years

Yeah i agree i'm from Ireland and everyone always bangs on about them, i can't stand them!

I find U2's music to be overrated tripe. Their newest single is crap and overly ridiculous as were their performance at the Brits.

I like the new single, not suprised its #1 in Ireland at all.

Very much agree with a lot of people in this thread in that U2 are overrated and its just fans buying another **** album cos they have followed them from when they were good.
