Debating subject: Should britain bring back the Death sentence?

How about prisons today? Do you think that they should have all of this nice equiptement. Ps3s, Hd tvs, X box... Everything they have!

Death sentence? That is always a good one.. Lets do that one! We had a feedback form posted a few weeks back.. but now lets Actually debate it :shrug:

I think the death sentence was good and they Should bring it back. An eye for an eye if you know what i mean?

Omg they have stuff like that??? Thats not fair! imagine right! some of the people wouldnt have been able to afford it before they went in prison so its like some kind of treat to them!

Or the role the fashion industry play on young girls and their eating habits.. for example how its THEM that make girls Anorexic!!! :blush2:

No I don't agree with the death sentence. We were doing in RE about revenge and all, an we all thought it's worse for them to have to live with what they did then for them to be able to escape it and be killed.
And I don't think its right to kill someone..like no-one deserves for their life to be ended..that kinda contridicts what I just sai but ah well.

Ino ! It's like they have it easier in prison then everyone else does in the real world..they don't have to boither with bill and jobs and all that jazz :bored:

But do you not think that they should have their life taken for taking another life? They should have to go through with what others went through? And what about terrorists? They kill thousands of people, surely they deserve to be killed

Tbh i think it would be good for them to watch a video to do with each of the people they killed. Like if they killed a family and they had a vid of them on holiday then the terrorist should have to watch it. I know its harsh but still

No, two wrongs don't make a right. It might seem alright to kill someone cos they killed someone, but its a bit hypocritical don't you think ?
And yeah terrorists kill loads of people, but locking them up in a cell is like taking away their rights and all..like it gets to them..they have nothing to else to do other than play xbox etc. all day, so they think about what they done and they can't get away from it..it eats them up. I think it's a much bigger punishment for them to have to face up to what they done.

They should be left in a room with a tv with bad signal and like 3 channels. lol

I do not think they would care really? The government talk about having a nice world and improving, and they are not going to do that if they are paying to keep terrorists and murderers in prison with their fancy tv's

I think it all comes back to the argument about prisons and what is in them. If someone is jailed for murder they should have all human rights taken away from them, if they are not killed. I do agree about the 2 wrongs make a right, but i think that people are getting too used to murders now. Every day on the news we hear about a murder and if these murderers were kiled, dont you think that other people who plan to murder would then think twice if they knew it was their own life they were sacrificing?

Not even that! They are locked up for a reason. they should get no enjoyment out of being in prison

the newest thing i have is a wii lol. Loads of people would kill to have one of those luxury items! I dont get why they are allowed them! Its stupid!
