I have just chosen my GCSE options and the ones that you had to do were...

English
Maths
Science - I chose Triple Science
MFL - I chose Spanish NVQ
ICT
PE
RE

The other subjects I picked were...
1st choice - History
2nd choice - Art Graphics
3rd Choice - Physiology
alternative choice - Geography

Just out of interest how does your options work in your school and what did you pick (Or picked year 10+)

I picked...

Drama
Art & Design
Geography

They don't mean much if I'm honest. Not too much control on what you do in the future, unless its a language or something, then again I say that, but I am going into University doing acting, it fits quite well with my choices.

I picked Drama, History and French. I love Drama, it's my favourite subject so I'm really happy I chose it but I regret picking the other two. I have so much coursework for French and my teacher doesn't explain the work well. History it's all so fast paced and I have loads of sheets in my folder, I always have to write essays.

I chose Drama, RM (woodwork) and Geography!

I think I would take something like music over Geography, as there is a pile of coursework xD

And my friends who took music have like a really thin revision guide and they just do practicals every lesson!

I dont like Music, Music gets on my nerves.

I chose Drama, Music, Graphics and Resistant Materials. Thank god those days are over.

We had to do;

And one other; I did Spainish..regret it

Ours were SO limited :bawling:..I would have loved to do art or music

Then I chose:
Design Techonology Subject: Food Tech
Option 2: Geography
Option 3: Spanish

I choose Welsh, Cooking, ART and Religious Education.

Italian
History
Business Studies
Double Science (God knows why i did that! I hate Science!)

Reserve choice- Media Studies

And the only subject i like that I chose is Italian.

Life In The City.

Drama:
Yes I could see you in a 9PM Episode of the Bill

that does not care who is in his way.

We had to do:

and then I chose:

Business Studies
& French

We picked ours when we went into 1st Year,so I was like 11 when I choose them,lol.

We had to do Irish,English,Maths,History,Geography,CSPE and Science

I choose Home Ec,Business and French.

5 years ago i picked

english lang
maths
single science
geography
history
business and communication studies

and then i did a 1 year course in gcse ict

and when i failed my english i did essential skills

For my school we have to do

Science (Double Award for me)

But subjects with no GCSE results are

C.P
P.E

I chose
Drama- Glad I chose it enjoying it a lot. But A LOT of coursework.
History- I am glad I chose it but it is a lot work. And 100% exam is a nightmare
French- I hate myself for letting my mum persuade me to do this. I am awful at it.. :sad:

I picked;
Geography.
Child Development.
Food Economics.

Thank god those days are over. If i could go back i'da changed Geography for History. Childcare for art.
I liked Food though.

I picked German, French, IT and History.
I regretted taking German and IT, they were so boring. And German.. ugh, I hate it.
