I\'ve just heard some sad news!

OMG, i hate it when things like this happen. Yesterday i was at the Co-op with a friend when we bumped into this girl from school. Her name was Ciara. I've not seen her for about a year now, so i was all over her. She came around to my house for a chat and stuff. We got talking and she was telling me about this guy she'd be going out with for three months. Then she suddenly burst out crying. She said that she hated him, and that he hated her too. She told me that he always made her feel ugly (he insulted her all the time), she also told me that her family loved him and everytime she'd tried telling them about this they ignored her and told her she was attention seeking. Me, being a wannabe agony aunt told her to go and speak to her parents again, and to show them that she was being serious and that this guy was bullying her. She left in such a good mood because i made her feel good about herself. Anyway, this morning i got a phone call from another friend telling me that she had jumped into a canal that night and killed herself

I'm so shocked because...i only spoke to her yesterday, and i thought that she'd be okay once she spoke to her parents, but it wasn't. I'm half blaming myself because i convinced her to speak up about it and tell her parents, but they must not of taken any notice and she just thought she couldn't take any more  it's so sad, i don't even know why i'm sharing it, but i need to get it out somehow, i hate diary's, and i think this is the best place i can share it

That's what my mum keeps telling me. I feel that anyone that goes through this should speak up about it, at least, that's what i've been brought up like, so i just told her what i though

Sort of, a friend of mine died like this a while back, i had a huge row with him and we didn't speak for months. He was on drugs, so i heard. Anyway, he was found dead in a park a while later

I know what you're thinking, i thought exactly the same, i don't know a lot about it, just that she was with a friend and she did it. A few people saw it too apparantly. Just glad i wasn't there
Actually i may of been able to help her if i was

Sorry to sound like the mean one but you say "I know what you're thinking, I thought the same." - you have said she had killed herself in the original post, now you are saying you're unsure, or not 100%.

Again, when people are usually suicidal and I only know because a relative of mine and two friends have killed theirself in the past. They did it when they were alone and nobody around.
I don't think your friend would want to put your other friends through the pain of watching her kill herself.

I'm not saying you are lieing, and R.I.P to your friend because this is sad news but your whole story is confusing. One minute your sure, next your not.

Dom:D 16-03-2009 08:33 PM

Omg i'm so sorry

Matt 16-03-2009 08:33 PM

What a tragic story. R.I.P.

Like it's been said though, don't blame yourself. Whatever happened, it's not your fault.

inspector-frost 16-03-2009 08:34 PM

thats so sad.so sorry for you and everyone that knew your friend.must be awful for her parents

*mazedsalv** 16-03-2009 08:36 PM

Omg, thats terrible! Hope your okay, must be really terrifying seeing as you spoke to her the day before, believe me its NOT your fault.
