Stupidest reason for an ejection ever.

Day 78 in the Big Brother Germany 9 house, McFly, a new housemate enters the house.

Day 93 in the Big Brother Germany 9 house, McFly is ejected because he lied to the producers about a scar on his chest. He told the producers that the scar was there because of an accident, instead it was a cause of a heart pacemaker operation.

How stupid is that ? Like seriously.

MarkWaldorf 17-03-2009 05:26 PM

I thought you meant McFly the band then!

Nicky. 17-03-2009 05:26 PM

Man am I jealous of his name! xD

And that is pretty stupid!!

Also, when i read the first line I thought it would be something to do with the other housemates not liking the band xD

Matt 17-03-2009 05:27 PM

I don't blame them. If he lied to the producers about having a pacemaker and then something happened to him inside the house, they could have got into serious trouble.

Arneldo 17-03-2009 05:27 PM

Maybe they felt he shouldn't be there for health reasons? It was stupid of him to lie anyway.

Jack 17-03-2009 05:28 PM

I think his name is possibly more stupid.

Maybe people with heart conditions weren't allowed to apply or had to have a thorough medical examination?

But aren't they supposed to do a medical thing before ? They would have noticed it.

OK he lied, I'm not saying it's right, he shouldn't have, but now the producers know it, they should have let him in instead of ejecting him.

Lauren 17-03-2009 05:31 PM

I don't think they're ejecting him because of the lie, but moreso the fact he has a pacemaker.

They should've detected in the health runs up to the show, but oh well.

The housemates probably would have had a general check-up before going in, but in this case I presume it was up to McFly to inform the producers he had a pacemaker fitted.

As Jack said, maybe people with such a condition were not eligible to apply, or they had to go for a more thorough examination before taking part.

If the former was the case and they had allowed him to stay, they may have faced a public backlash for keeping him despite the fact he had broken audition rules. Or, as I said, had anything serious happened to him, the producers may have been partly liable for allowing him to take part.

It's down to personal opinion I suppose, but I believe his ejection was warranted.

Idiotttts.
aahhahahahahah mcfly

Apparently, someone in the Germany BB house knows McFly and asked him if it was because of the band, but it wasn't..

but unless the person is like 5 or 6, it wouldn't be xD

I'm guessing "McFly" is just a nickname, not his actually name lol

Of course it was up to him to tell them, no doubt about that. Instead of getting him ejected, he should have been punished by facing the public vote or getting a warning but come on, ejecting someone for this is a bit too much.

We don't actually know if the producers would be responsible if they knew in case something happened. It's all in the contract, and may differs from one country to another.

I just think that, the producers should have done a medical examination to see if he's alright then allowing him back in if he's fine.

Maybe it was part of health and safety that you cant have a pacemaker in bigbrother?

Many BB around the world would use Ejection to show someone who left due rule-breaking. Kitten, Emma, Nick, Alexandra, Emily, etc. were all Ejected from the house. and it's funny that I just remember Glyn saying that he didn't want to be ejaculated from the house xD.
