Abortion clinics are to advertise on tv
This will be a bold step.
"But its plans were furiously condemned last night by family campaigners" http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...year-olds.html Sign Of The Times. |
Parents will complain about abortion how its wrong and that im sure, until their daughter comes home and says shes pregnant then they will say she needs it.
Either way i think its a good thing, 14 - 15 year old girls that get pregnant, need a way out people can say how other people want a baby that cant have one, but how hard is it for a girl of that age to be pregnant for that long just to give it away. |
Yes it is a good thing.
|
I am Torn On this on We dont want Girls to think it is right to have an abortion because it's not but advertising might make it seem that way and it could happen a lot lot more.
|
as someone who is against abortion full stop i have certain views over this anyway but this coupled with the morning after pill being now availiable via text and online are giving the wrong messages out to girls who are using them as a form of contraception because there isnt enough decent sex ed and so on so that should a girl be having sex young (again this is on the rise) she is going into it blinkered
|
I will personally complain if this advert airs.

I take it you have all fallen the Daily middle England they are taking all our jobs their all paedos hang them Mail?
The story is that they are looking at the whether they should let the advisery service advertise. Tis would include ALL sections of the advice they give, from birth control, having the baby and abortion. Giving all the advice for all the options. Fom, I take it you have seen the ad that has not been made yet as you are so ready to complain? |

Ofcom likes debates. But this is a Free Nation we are not under any Catholic Rule or the like. These ads are long and they have taken care with them. It is the right thing to do. http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2009/...73_233x269.jpg As we have had many young problems. |

I dont think its right to be calling a 13 year old a *****! And what about telling the lads to put something on the end of it aswell! Or is it just down to the women!? tut tut
|
Hpefuly there will be less teenage pregnancys then.
|
Good idea, should of happened much sooner
I don't see the point in complaining as the adverts will inform women about an option they may have not persuade them to have an abortion |
It's a sensitive issue, so i don't need to see why it needs to be advertised.
Surely girls know their choices, this advert can only surely make abortion seem a good idea? Hmm... i just don't see the necessity of it. |

You are wrong Many Girls have such strict Parents they do not know about a choice. |
I'm not particulary bothered either way. I'm very pro choice, If soemone wants an abortion I say let 'em have it. It's their choice.
