Just thought i'd make this thread for all this tasks discussion in. :wink:

maybe he can split some of nicky's duties because she did a LOT in the last task and it's mean to be a burden on her i'm sure she has lots to do! she should do the main graphics bit though because her graphics, lets face it, RULE. :bigsmile:

Well we can pitch ideas about what we can do so far, can't rely on Loukas to come up with everything plus he can just OK stuff ....

I think we should do an online banner advertisement because you can click on it to bring you to TiBB

a press ad and a TV ad wouldn't work so well for what we're advertising I don't think

Okey dokey shall we come up with a list of what we're going to do and see what Loukas things and he can have the authority, so if he doesn't like a certain aspect then he can just say?

Definately, I agree.

I suppose the market for this product is people who use forums a lot, so a banner would be more useful to have on other websites etc to attract attention.

+ None of us are expert video makers, and without the use of music, it would be a pretty lame advert.

There's easily enough jobs for everyone this time too.

I think we should start off with a discussion on everyone's ideas :)

Well we need to decide on which one we're going to do first. Should we have a vote? I think we should go for the banner.

I can make a video. I am good at using movie maker!

I also vote for the banner. I LOVE Tom's idea about clicking it taking it straight to the page :thumbs:

I think this task is a bit of a trick tbh. I think going for the video would be a huge mistake, and going for this banner is a very clever idea.

So obviously the banner has to advertise TiBB but also make people really want to click on it everytime they see it. Maybe a question on it or something, something that people will click on to find out the answer too.

Like those horribly annoying ones, as annoying as they are they grab peoples attentions.

I think an animating banner with 3 short and snappy phrases on should do, something like:

Phrase 1:

BIG BROTHER FAN?

Phrase 2:

WANT TO KNOW WHAT IS HAPPENING IN THE HOUSE RIGHT NOW?

Phrase 3:

Find out this and more about reality TV at

Simple works so much better than over complicating things. The last one looks a bit cluttered but the address would be in big lettering with the writing above a little smaller and below it much smaller

Obviously thats off the top of my head, we could plan what to go on each one better

yeah I agree they're good, but obv. need a bit of tweaking!

I think the Press advert sounds great! But that's something I would do personally, but to work as a team, I think a video would be awesome!

Loads of people love TiBB but don't love Big Brother, so maybe we should also advertise for the people that don't like Big Brother? What do you think?

Yeah I think that's a good idea.
In fact, I don't really like Big Brother at all.... I wish it were a generalish forum. The people on here are great... Hmmm I suppose we could take it on a people angle?

I think we should say like 'Love Big Brother? No? How about reality TV in general?'
