Shilpa Shetty has claimed that Jade Goody learnt important lessons after being accused of racism on Celebrity Big Brother.

The Bollywood actress admitted that the controversy had also helped bring sensitive issues to the foreground.

"It's been a learning curve for all the viewers watching Big Brother how it's important to think before you speak, how feelings are important," she told Richard & Judy's New Position.

"I really believe that Jade also learnt from that whole episode."

Shetty added that the pair were eventually able to put their differences behind them when Goody appeared on Big Boss in India.

"We didn't get the chance to bury the hatchet, we kind of moved on with our lives," she said.

"Then again, her coming back into my life two years later, and we being able to become friends and putting that into the past, is again something that was karma and was meant to happen, it was destiny.

"I'm so glad that happened as I'd never have been able to forgive myself."

I think she blamed herself for the arguments between her and Jade.

Shilpa did nothing wrong.

I started to Watch Big Brother When a scuffle was happen in Shilpa and Jade. Jade abused the shilpa. Jade uttered some unsocial word to Shilpa. Jade thought shilpa belongs to a black people country and she is cheap, which was not fair. Than shilpa accused of racism on Jade.

Roger it was racism plain and simple.

To say Jade learned from it is to admit just one thing - her money was coming to an end. She had to do something. By bad luck or chance of fate she got cancer. She was then given a second chance by the media. She milked it to the end primarily for profit but under the guise of increasing cancer awareness. This way she got free publicity to sell her products from cancer charities.

I say to the end, she milked it. The trouble is though her sponsors are still trying to milk it.
