Stephen King

Any fans of his books on here?

I've read "Cell" and am currently reading "'salem's Lot" - reading it is the scariest thing I come across in my life lmao. It's just the way he builds up such a strong sense of community spirit, and you begin to feel for the characters, before he begins killing them off.

Word of advice - don't read it alone in the dark. You will NOT be able to sleep.

Want to read 'Carrie' and 'The Shining' too, as well as 'It'.

Oh, 'It' is frightening but i found 'Carrie' very annoying (the character not the book)

'The Shining' is such a good book, if you think the movie was good then the book is soooooooooo much better

'Carrie' is a great book too.

I would recommend 'pet cemetery' too

If you like Stephen King then you will love James Herbert

I love Stephen King. I read all his books when I was younger, but recently I'm more inclined to read James Patterson and John Grisham.

The Stephen King films don't do justice to the books though. The Shining was probably the only film adaptation I enjoyed.

'Pet Semetary' is a book i haven't read but i watched the film.

The film is ok but there is no comparison to the book.

I scared myself witless when I was younger by reading it alone.... not a good idea
