Where was you when 7/7 happened?

Just keeping in line with other threads on the same stuff

I'd just finished school for that year and it was boiling ... remember being in the garden like bbq and stuff ... then went inside for stuff and it was on the telly

I was in England on holiday, and we'd gone over to Blackpool for the day and heard about it on a TV in one of those indoor market stalls.

I was at work but I spent most of the day worrying about my Brother who I knew would be in Liverpool Street Station at the time.

He would 1 train behind the one that got attacked

Matt08 28-03-2009 11:21 AM

I was at school.

I was in Portugal,I was by myself in the villa and I turned the telly on to see a bus with no roof on it,which I think was on fire. I sat and watched the news till my family came back.

Summer camp LOL
We'd just come back from the park, it was on the TV in the cafe of the lesuire centre, I saw it as I was walking past

I was on a school trip to legoland we heard of the first one before we got there whilst still on the coach so it put a big downer on like half the day.

Then when we were leaving they said about how others had happened.

So the coach ride home was kinda gloomy, i was 13 i think.

Locke. 28-03-2009 11:25 AM

I just had to google to find out what this was.

Anyway, I can't really remember, but I can remember watching it on the news in my nans.

MarkWaldorf 28-03-2009 11:41 AM

I was in my Science lesson and when I came out my friend told me in his Maths class they were watching it on the news. At the time I thought he was joking because you don't expect London to get bombed, but then they called an assembly and sent us all home early. I remember being really scared because my auntie works up in central London.

ILoveTRW 28-03-2009 11:43 AM

I was in school and i was one of the first to find out so i started spreading around that the whole city of london had been blown up :bored:

pinkmichk 28-03-2009 11:44 AM

i was at home with my 3 month old baby when the news update came on me and my neighbour spent ages watching the news cos her dad works as a fireman in london so saw it first hand i also remember getting a phone call from my step mum cos my dad was still in intensive care after his car accident and we were told that if the beds were needed for those injured as a result he would have to be moved

Scarlett. 28-03-2009 11:45 AM

On holiday in a caravan, watching GMTV when it came on

MarkWaldorf 28-03-2009 11:47 AM

It was so weird as well...the day before we had our sports day and one of our teachers stopped the whole thing and revealed that London had won the 2012 bid for the Olympics. Everyone was sooo happy.

I was at home with my brother and my dad. The electricty was off for some reason that day and dad heard from a neighbour a bus was a fire in London and we were desperate to know what happened cus dad's sister lives in London so my brother went on the internet on his phone and we saw the pictures. Then Dad's sister rang and Dad was talking to her for like an hour lol.

Conor 28-03-2009 11:57 AM

In Crete, staying at my grandparents house. They get BBC news or BBC world or something like that on their dish so we watched it from ages. One of my uncles is a graphics designer in London and gets the tube everyday so we were al worried :s

BigSister 28-03-2009 01:02 PM

i was on holiday and i just put tv on in my hotel room and nobody knew what was happening.

Harry! 28-03-2009 01:03 PM

At home or at school.

Shaun 28-03-2009 01:06 PM

At school. It was lunchtime when we heard about it, and there was some weird rumour that the London Eye had been blown up, so we decided to run around school spreading said rumour lmao.

Gemmer-x 28-03-2009 06:37 PM

at school, in maths. Our teacher was using the interactive whiteboard thingy, and went on the internet for something and BAM there it was all over the 'net.

JOSHUAH! 28-03-2009 06:42 PM

I was ill and was off school, and I remember GMTV finishing and just as the music came on a graphic came up saying "Explosion reported in Liverpool St. Station"

At that time my house didn't have Sky so I remember watching Jeremy Kyle and it being interrupted by ITV News.

Fom 28-03-2009 06:44 PM

I was in bed haha, wasnt this in 2006? I was finished from GCSE's then...
