I am quite scared...

.. I shouldn't be but i am.. Please don't laugh..

Earlier.. about 15 minutes ago i banged the back of my head hard on the ground while playing a game of football.. and it hurt at the time but it felt fine now im worried, i might have what Natasha Richardson had.. This is not a joke i am being serious.. What should i do..?

Natasha had a headache 1 hour after her accident and then went all downhill from there.. i have told my parents and they think im over reacting..

Axiom 01-04-2009 07:42 PM

I think Natasha Richardson's fall might have been a teensy bit harder tbh :L

*mazedsalv** 01-04-2009 07:42 PM

Well, I would say you are fine, but maybe put something on the back of the head, or do you know anyone that knows lots about medical stuff and make sure with them.

I think the whole Natasha thing is rare, but its best to ask someone who knows about, maybe the hopsital, not sure :conf2: and Im hoping you didnt stumble as bad as she did.

Hugo 01-04-2009 07:44 PM

Now thats just disrespectful.

Yeah your overreacting.

andyman 01-04-2009 07:57 PM

Do you feel dizzy? Light head? Sick? Any pain?..

Loukas 01-04-2009 08:01 PM

not dizzy my my eyes are fussy.. no pain..

Fom 01-04-2009 08:04 PM

I think you might be over reacting, Natasha fell very hard, she fell down a hill into a rock. If it gets any worse then obviously tell your parents, but if your eyes stay fuzzy then I don't think you have to much to worry about, you just need rest, being on the computer wont help!

30stone 01-04-2009 08:17 PM

After hitting your head its best not to go to sleep.

bronaaaa 01-04-2009 08:19 PM

Your're probaly over-reacting a bit but maybe check it out on the internet if your worried :conf2:

Proof, sport is the work of the anti christ.

Ross 01-04-2009 09:16 PM

Loukas, there's always something going on with your mates/cousins/you. Either someones hurt theirselves, you're spotting "ghosts" or they're being molested by strangers.

I would hate to live in your shoes.

I think its more with concussion.

But you can mess up your sleeping, and something to do with memory loss.

Also my cousins next door neighbour fell asleep after getting concussion and he had a heart attack in the night and died, Though i dont think they were linked and he was kinda old.

it is safe to go to sleep being awake wont do you any favours just ask your parents to wake you not completely just enough to check you stir every couple of hours
with concussion (which you could have) they only really are concerned if any bump goes inward instead of coming out like a 'egg' if you are sick and are hard to wake from a sleep
so take some paracetamol rest up tonight get off computer and dont watch tv cos your brain needs time to recover stressing it by doing things like this wont help your healing
if you change at all such as being sick phone nhs direct for advise 08454647 or get to a&e
*takes off first aiders hat* sorry i've just waffled but i have done first aid courses so know what they look out for
