What would be appropriate?

I've been going out with my girlfriend for a month(on Saturday) and was wondering what would be an appropriate thing to do for a 1 month anniversary?

I'm mainly looking for a girls point of view but any suggestions will be taken into account.

Erm.. get her a pressy, take her out somewhere nice maybe a resturant or the cinema??

Captain.Remy 08-04-2009 04:17 PM

Restaurant + Cinema + Shagging.

From my experience, it works. Very well.

Make something, girls go mushy when you actually spend time on something. It means more than just buying something, create a collage or a scrap book?

Sam! 08-04-2009 04:17 PM

I don't think anything needs to be done. Some people see month anniversarys shitt cheesy. If you really wanna do sumin, buy her flowers. Tadah. I only did something on my year anniversary with my girlfriend.

I was thinking along the lines of that i've got tons of photos of us from the past month and was going to do that and then cook a meal or something.

anniversary = annum = year.

month celebrations are silly.

arista 08-04-2009 04:19 PM

Well done for a month.
it is hard these days.

Some places you could go to eat
which are more than you would pay normal,
works well.

As many women may
see that as respect to them.

I like month celebrations, they symbolise things in my opinion.

Yes it does
you are right.

Christina 08-04-2009 04:23 PM

Noo i think the month thing is sweet! You dont have to do it every month but yeah

Lauren 08-04-2009 04:24 PM

Aw, me and my boyfriend always celebrate month celebrations - even if it's something small. We're onto 17 months now.

A good idea is just a nice meal out somewhere, or cinema and then back to house.

Don't get her a specific present or an object or something, save that for the yearly.

ILoveTRW 08-04-2009 04:25 PM

I don't have enough money to take my girlfriend out for a meal monthly so ill have to stick with yearly

Iceman 08-04-2009 04:25 PM

Well we only get to see each other from friday to monday so i wanted to plan something nice for her.

bronaaaa 08-04-2009 04:26 PM

Do something thoughtfull like rent her favourite DVD out or something like that

Meh, my bf and I are students - our idea of a meal out is Wetherspoons £3.99 beer and burger LOL.

Captain.Remy 08-04-2009 04:28 PM

I'm being serious now. Keep it simple like Lauren said. It's only a month. I loved doing it too with my ex girlfriend (2 years together) and it worked fine. A nice meal, a little gift and a movie or something else will make it.
