Jade Goody's gran has hit back at Michael Parkinson after he said that the late reality star represents "all that's paltry and wretched about Britain today".

The chatshow host, 74, wrote in the Radio Times that Goody had cemented her place in TV history but her achievements were "nothing to be proud of".

Caddock, 76, reportedly told the Daily Star: "I'd love to give him a piece of my mind. I would love to wring his neck.

"If I could see him face to face I would love to give him a right mouthful and a wallop. But I know that everyone else is behind her so it doesn't matter what one man thinks.

"How can he say Jade has got nothing to be proud of? She was so brave and she highlighted the dangers of cervical cancer to young women."

She added: "To be honest, I don’t think he has got anything to be proud of. I’ve always found him a bit irritating."

Goody, 27, passed away on Mother's Day after losing her battle with cervical cancer.

Proof the whole family is scum. If any of them could actually read they'd realise Parky was actually defending Jade, not criticising her.

Anyone with half a braincell can see Parkinson was slamming the public interest in Jade and how the media influences people. Look at the article, it's making Parkinson out to be an antagonist BECAUSE he slammed newspapers.

Here's some advice, NEVER read tabloids. They are trash that try to imprint their points of view onto impressionable people. Look at the Daily Mail. If you want a newspaper stick to the broadsheets.

What a pathetic woman - this is exactly the type of thing he was criticising. She has absolutely no right to be in the public eye whatsoever, and yet as a by-product of this godawful society she gets to voice her wishes for needless violence.

I hope Jade's cancer was ****ing hereditary.
