Danny dating Pixie Lott?

Pop Princess and McFly star Danny Jones have been secretly dating

I'm liking this news a Lott . . . pop princess PIXIE and McFLY star DANNY JONES have been secretly dating.

Cheeky lead singer Danny texted gorgeous Pixie to see if she fancied going clubbing and sparks soon began to fly.

Last night a pal of his told me: "Danny has fancied Pixie for ages and when she was touring with the Saturdays, he asked his bandmate Dougie to put in a good word."

DOUGIE POYNTER, 21, is currently dating Saturdays singer FRANKIE SANDFORD - and when Pix heard that Danny, 23, was interested she jumped at the chance to meet him.

A friend of the Mama Do singer revealed: "Pixie is very particular when it comes to guys and she hasn't really had a proper boyfriend before. She's always very career focused.

"But now her career is on the right track she is determined to find herself a nice guy.

"She really likes Danny and she thinks they have chemistry."

But Pixie, 18, has been warned to watch herself around ladies man Danny, who this year dated and then dumped Miss England LAURA COLEMAN.

But one of Pixie's mates said: "She is no idiot and can spot a womaniser a mile off. But Danny isn't like that. He is very honest and she thinks they could be really good together.

"It is still very early days for them. But at the moment the signs are very good. They have been texting each other a lot."

Pixie, who won the MTV Europe Award for best new act from the UK and Ireland, recently told me about the kind of guy she wanted to date.

She said: "I'm always on the hunt for a man. It kind of depends on that first impression.

"But looks-wise I kind of just like the messy kind of hair and someone who dresses nice as well." Messy hair? Snappy dresser? Now that does sound familiar.

Another of Pixie's pals agreed: "Danny is definitely the kind of guy she usually goes for. She really loves musicians and creative guys who just want to have a good time all the time."

Pixie has had two No 1s since appearing on the scene - Mama Do and follow-up Boys And Girls. Her debut album, Turn It Up, reached No 6.

The pal added: "Pixie has everything - fame, fortune and stunning good looks - but now she really wants a nice boyfriend.

"She loves to party but now she's looking for love."

Star Girl is being played in space tomorrow! - 4.30pm our time!

Few articles about it -

McFly are out of this world! Literally!

We literally can't think of anything much more impressive than having your very own song played in actual space, but that's exactly what the lovely McFly boys have managed to do – with a little help from their fans. What started as one little Tweet on Twitter generated enough demand for NASA to take notice, and tomorrow morning (11.30am EDT) McFly's hit Star Girl will be played on the international space station currently orbiting the earth. Amazing, no?! Tom Fletcher from McFly is a huge fan of all-things intergalatic, so he especially is thrilled, calling it "stellar news". Very clever Tom, very clever. The song will be played to the astronauts aboard the space station and is all part of a NASA "Tweetup", where 35 people will get to talk to the astronauts via Twitter. NASA TV and website will be giving live coverage of the event including showing the full-length video of McFly’s Star Girl. We're so thrilled for them! In fact, you could say it's out of this world... To find out more, go to NASA at www.nasa.gov/home/

PS. We've just noticed that Danny is floating in this picture! Brilliant!

The Sun - McFly me to the moon
MCFLY'S music is to be beamed into outer space.

TOM, DANNY, DOUGIE and HARRY's 2006 hit Star Girl will be played on the International Space Station tomorrow morning after their super supporters bombarded NASA with Tweets on networking site Twitter.

The agency were asking for trouble by making an offer on the site for 35 lucky people to talk live to the astronauts circling the earth.

But most of those replying to the Tweet were McFly lovers - and just wanted to make sure anyone trapped in space didn't miss out on classic lyrics such as: "I was afraid when you kissed me/on your intergalactical Frisbee."

And other gems including: "There's nothing on Earth that could save us/when I feel in love with Uranus."

Space chiefs finally bowed to pressure from the fans and as part of the event the lads' song will be played for the astronauts to hear.

It will even be shown on NASA's website.

McFly track to be played to astronauts
McFly's 2006 hit single 'Star Girl' will be played to NASA astronauts tomorrow morning.

Fans of the boyband orchestrated a Twitter campaign to get their number one track played by the US public space programme after it offered 35 people the chance to talk live to astronauts circling earth.

The majority of responses to NASA were from fans of the group requesting that it played the song, which includes the lyric: "There's nothing on Earth that could save us, when I feel in love with Uranus." The event will be shown on NASA's website.

McFly are currently working on their fifth studio album, which is rumoured to have a sci-fi theme based on Fred M. Wilcox's Forbidden Planet.

Star Girl in space was actually amazing!

They played it once, then the signal from the station got cut off, so the man had to explain, and then said it was dedicated to all the McFly fans, who had tweeted them everytime they tweeted! THAT'S US!

Then everyone was ****zing so so much! Then the next thing we knew, it was being played again because it got cut off the first time!! Will post a video when someone YouTubes it Xx
