I have TRII on PS1 and I used to love playing it. Does anyone remember the butler that used to follow you around everywhere? It was bloody annoying. I remember one time I went into that maze in her garden, and he just appeared from nowhere. Scared the **** outta me! I am still haunted to this day by that rickety sound of his tray..

Iceman 21-05-2009 02:37 AM

^^ Yes I remember the butler, which one was it that you could lock him in the freezer, that was always a laugh haha, I must dig out those games and give them another play!

They really do give you some really good memories of been younger and playing these games before laptops and computers had really been invented and wide spread as to what they are today!

Anyone into TR?

I love the classics and while the reboot games are fun to play (apart from Shadow) they're not what I want from TR at all... I would ach die for faithful 1-1 remakes of the original series TR1-Angel of Darkness.

user104658 26-05-2021 10:05 AM

I agree that the reboot is a bit cookie-cutter 3rd person cover shooter - I enjoyed the first one but let's face it they just slapped Lara Croft into an "Uncharted" clone. They could have kept it more it's own thing by still keeping her a bit "superheroish" with the athletics, backflips and generally faster-paced gameplay.

At least her Ass
is real now.

Years ago it was Square.

Good, but frustrating games.

Only played 1, 2 and 3 though, uncleared.

Nicky91 26-05-2021 12:48 PM

i like the Reboot (i also like the one movie based upon the reboot with Alicia Vikander, seen that few times already)

Camilla Luddington does fab work as voice, motion capture (fun fact with the motion capture technology they basically scan you through and through i've heard one actor Bryan Dechart saying he had to do that for the game he was on Detroit: Become Human)

_Seth 26-05-2021 02:43 PM

Camilla can't even do an English accent properly (even though she was born in the UK). People outside England won't notice that so she never bothered to improve her talentless and abysmal performance each game. Hopefully she ****s off from TR.
