Muscles Twitching?

Okay ive had this all day so far!!
I keep getting like muscle twitching things in the top of my arm near my shoulder. Its so annoying! i keep holding my hand there and it feels like a heartbeat.... does anyone else get this? when i look at my arm i can see it happening as well!

Lauren 15-04-2009 12:24 PM

Happens when you have quite a lot of sugar usually. I've had it before haha.

Like a heartbeat in your ear?

Yeah I get that.

*mazedsalv** 15-04-2009 12:38 PM

Yeahh, its not painful at all, its just bloody annoying!
I looked it up and apparently it has something to do with anxiety and caffeine.. but its making my left arm go weak.

Lauren 15-04-2009 12:46 PM

It's usually off too much sugar, but if you haven't had that much - there's a chance your blood is just randomly pumping faster.

This is what i found, i think for me the most possible thing thats causing it is caffeine.

*stress
* caffeine
* exercise
* lack of sleep
* drug overdose
* diet deficiency
* overactive thyroid
* drug side effect ~ diuretics, corticosteroids, estrogens

MR.K! 15-04-2009 12:56 PM

You and your drugs.. :nono:

:)

Fom 15-04-2009 01:01 PM

My muscles twitch when I am stressed or when I eat too much chocolate... hm.
