When I was at Elstree last friday watching all of the housemates enter the house, my first thought on seeing Alex was 'God, he's gorgeous.'

He is sooo annoying me now though. Josh decribed him as 'wet' and I think that is a very good description and voice is just so moany.

Penny did like her tidying up, and did try to tell everyone what to do, but she was also frantic, frenetic, funny, and completely loopy.

The only way Alex and Penny are similar is that they were into cleanliness.

Penny was a sweet woman who wasn't treated well by certain of her fellow housemates especially the winker!

i know alex is getting on everyone's nerves,but i've got to honest he is making me laugh.at the end of the day all bb asks you to do is be yourself and i believe alex is be being himself,which is more than i can say for some of the others.ok so he's driving them mad,but at least he's got the bottle to tell em straight.:laugh:

I don't agree. There was a lot of fun in the house when they first went in and I think Alex has to take the lion's share of the blame for the fact that the atmosphere has gone and it has got so boring!!!!!

Alex makes me laugh too. He is so anal and controlling, and his constant cleaning, whining and moaning is quite funny.

Most importantly, Jonny and he obviously really dislike each other and as long as he winds him up that's good enough for me. :xyxwave:

if i'm being honest here,and i have been watching a lot just lately,i think it's jade who should take the lions's share.so despite everything i said earlier about jade,i've changed my mind now.she has stirred a lot of s*#t up and getting away with it,i don't think she realises it's all being recorded and filmed.i'm sorry but in my opinion,she's not the naive girl i thought she was.

I watched last nights live feed until about 2.30 am (maybe I should change my handle to Sadgit).

All the housemates were on the sofas except Alex, Sandy and Adele. The mood was lightened, and a great time was had by all. It was a bit like the first few days. Mrs Oldgit and I were in stitches!

As for Jade (and others) being bitchy, little things get blown out of all proportion and we all find a confidante (at work for example) and have a rant about someone. It's very intense in there and you can't get away from people. And we are too quick to judge.

Jade admitted last night she now knew who her friends were.

The point is, that the house is a funny lively place when Alex and Sandy aren't there. And they're all miserable when they are. What would you rather watch?

I also have to ask:

How can anyone find Alex unintentionally funny? Jade is unintentionally funny. Helen in BB2 was unintentionally funny. Alex is just miserable!

I still say Alex has to go he is so annoying why can't he just live and let live

Well, I can't be bothered watching the E4 coverage so my opinions are entirely based on the nightly edits.

But Alex is currently my favourite housemate in there.

He had me in stitches last night with his rant in the diary room. And he's obviously seen through Kate's plan.

He also gets my sympathy because he is getting isolated in the house and doesn't look like he is getting much support out of it.

So he gets my vote as the underdog.

And peeing in someone else's shower is disgusting.

Well you need to. Most of the time, Alex is just a boring git.

I thought Kate was a bit devious at first, but I think people are judging her because she is intelligent as well as attractive. The more I see her on the live feed, the better I think of her.

He deliberately isolates himself. You see people trying to bring him back all the time and he just tells them where to get off.

And as for being the underdog, he came in and the girls all fancied him. Any dislikes he has have been brought upon himself.

I actually find the energetic and noisy ones boring at the moment. Each to their own though.

I'm just quite down on this year's Big Brother and the people they have chosen do be in there.

From the booing of Lynne, turned into some kind of super-villainess because of 2 or 3 remarks to the public's favourite, to the way the housemates are trying to pair off.

I think that Kate comes across very badly by latching on to Spencer. Like some kind of floozy. If Spencer gets evicted she'll probably move on to PJ.

In my opinion, the nightly shows aren't a very good advert for the E4 coverage.

Well me and my boss (male) think that Alex is hilarious and should stay. He is the only one with any kind of standards in that house. I know a lot of people like him and are related to some like him with their fussy ways but thats life. He is the only one worth looking at. OK so he needed time to adjust but now he's getting more sociable. I'd get frustrated living with those slobs. He should stay in so that at least he can drive the rest crazy

i agree,alex is the only one making me laugh at the moment.what made me laugh is when sophie first came in the house,the housemates was offered a meal of either chinese or indian to welcome sophie,sophie prefered indian,then one of the girls shouted,i want chinese,and alex said theres plenty of lupak in the fridge.he and sandy felt for sophie,when the other selfish gits got the meal they wanted.you would of thought that having been handed £400 and a hamper,they would of let sophie have the meal she wanted to welcome her to the house.it's no wonder alex has got no time for them
