Noel Gallagher has been offered his own radio show with pal Russell Brand. Bosses are desperate to sign up the Oasis guitarist and pal Russell Brand for a weekly slot on talkSPORT after the duo agreed to host a one-off special – Russell’s first radio show since he resigned following a row over lewd phone calls on his BBC Radio 2 show in October. A source said: “Noel and Russell play off each other really well and they’re both really knowledgeable about sport, in particular football. We’re expecting their show this week to be a massive hit."

The plot sounds rather much the same:
Aaron Greenberg (Hill) gets things done. The ambitious 23-year-old has exaggerated his way into a dream job just in time for a career-making assignment. His mission: Fly to London and escort a rock god to L.A.s Greek Theatre for the first-stop on a $100-million tour. His warning: Turn your back on him at your own peril. British rocker Aldous Snow (Brand) is both a brilliant musician and walking sex. Weary of yes men and piles of money, the former front man is searching for the meaning of life. But that doesnt mean he cant have a few orgies while he finds it. When he learns his true love is in California, Aldous makes it his quest to win her backright before kick-starting his world domination.

As the countdown to the concert begins, one intern must navigate a minefield of London drug smuggles, New York City brawls and Vegas lap dances to deliver his charge safe and, sort of, sound. He may have to coax, lie to, enable and party with Aldous, but Aaron will get him to the Greek.

Russell Brand to do a Remake of Drop Dead Fred

The 1991 Rik Mayall comedy film Drop Dead Fred is to be remade – with Russell Brand in the starring role.

Dennis McNicholas, a longtime writer on Saturday Night Live, is reworking the script for Universal Studios.

The decision to remake the movie might raise eyebrows, as the original was a critical and box-office flop. However, it has gained some cult status, and trade magazine The Hollywood Reporter says it ‘is considered a film that fell short of its full potential’.

The magazine adds: ‘The take for the new Fred is to make a film in the tone of Beetlejuice, building a universe around the concept of imaginary friends. Brand would play the trouble-making pal.’

The original starred Phoebe Cates as a meek woman who revives her childhood imaginary friend after losing her job and husband.

Brand is currently shooting Get Him To The Greek – a spin-off from Forgetting Sarah Marshall – also for Universal; and he has also been lined up to star in a remake of Arthur.

Uh-oh. Do we have a New Odd Couple Alert on our hands? British comedian Russell Brand has reportedly been putting the moves on Hugh Hefner’s former Bust It Baby, Holly Madison.

First Hugh, then Criss Angel, now Russell Brand? Is it just us or does Holly need better taste in men — or perhaps fewer of them to taste?

According to E! News, Russell was spotted enjoying dinner with the former Girls Next Door star at P. Diddy’s table at TAO Las Vegas during Jay-Z’s Fight Night Party last Saturday. The couple were joined by Cassie, David Arquette, Balthazar Getty, and former Spice Girl Mel B.

An onlooker claims the duo “were flirting with each other all night.”

You mean he stood around at the G20 protests for a bit? 'Riot' might be a stretch, man.

Russell Brand to guest on 'Saturday Night Live'

Russell Brand and Chris Brown will make their "Saturday Night Live" debuts on the February 12 episode, according to NBC.

Brand will take on hosting duties for the show while Brown will play on the "Saturday Night Live" stage. Brown is gearing up for the release of his latest album "F.A.M.E." on March 22. It will be his fourth studio effort.

Brown, who is up for three Grammy awards on February 13, recently Tweeted a photo of a diploma from a domestic violence course and said "I'm done with class".

He was ordered by the courts to receive domestic violence courses for a year after he pleaded guilty to felony assault for attacking then-girlfriend Rihanna in February 2009. He was also sentenced to five years of probation and six months of community service.

Brown was also praised by L.A. Superior Court Judge Patricia Schnegg during a hearing in November. According to E! News, Schnegg told the singer, "Out of thousands of probationers, no one has done a better or more consistent job than you have, and I really want to commend you for taking responsibility and for actually working diligently to complete all the things the court has required of you."
