According to Sky, web statistics firm Visible Measures calculated that 200 videos of Boyle's song were viewed nearly 50 million times by Friday. This figure doubled over the weekend, surpassing the 18.5 million hits notched up for Barack Obama's victory speech and the 33.2 million who watched the video of George W. Bush dodging a shoe in Iraq.

Boyle, who said that she looked like a "garage" on the show, could soon match the hits tallied by Evolution Of Dance from comedian Judson Laipply, which has been viewed more than 118 million times since 2006.

She has got the because of how much she surprised everyone especially simon being good when they expected her to be crap.

Her popularity will die down i think, i cant see her winning.

I don't think she'll win. The reason she's had to many hits isn't because she's good (which she undoubtedly is), but it's because of the hype surrounding her.

It happens all the time. Any early-hyped entry gets too publicised and people will jump on anything she does incorrectly.

After the show she is going to america.. Bigger and better things for her than winning BGT.
