AEROBICS instructor Hazel Summerson was hoping to catch the judges' eyes yesterday as she tried to win a place in the Big Brother house... topless.

Hazel, 34, arrived with the BB eye symbol painted on her boobs. She was one of hundreds of hopefuls auditioning at Newcastle United's St James's Park.

Hazel said: "It's a bit nippy but it will be worth it if I get a place."

She was being cheered on by husband Chris, 37, and kids Amy, 10, and Joe, eight, from North Shields.

Chris said: "She's a bit crazy and would be ideal."

At the front of the queue was 19-year-old Chris Redford who had been there since 4am. The Gateshead student said: "You're only young once."

But the most dedicated wannabe must be BT worker Graeme Bruce, 29, who had travelled down from Dundee.

Dressed only in a kilt, he said: "I went to Edinburgh last week and if I don't get through today I will go to Birmingham."

I was gonna audition this year but I'm not 18 till September the 8th so next year it is! I dunno whether to go as myself or what yet.:rolleyes:

When I walked past the ground on Saturday morning at about 7:20, I did not see the mass crowds, but then I had other things to do, and I am needed here during the summer.

There is word that the office of the Cyber Devil's Advocate General will not be contracted to support BB6. More news as it comes in :shocked:

After the collection they had in the house last year I suppose people feel they really have to 'go over the top' to get noticed - I hope she had her thermal undies ready when they had finished with her. :hugesmile:
