Stewart's Big Brother advice

BIG Brother 5's Stewart Wilson is urging wanabee housemates to do their homework if they want to stand out from the crowd at this weekend's auditions.

And to help the entrepreneurial leader of `team handsome' has recorded a premium rate message packed with tips on how to get into the house, and how to win - although he didn't.

"I got the idea after I used a similar line voiced by BB3's Darren and Bubble, and I found it really useful," he says. "The only thing was that theirs was really long and cost way too much, so I've tried to keep mine down."

Listeners will get Stewart's top ten tips on what the BB producers really want. "When I went to the auditions I made flyers of myself and gave them out to anyone who would take one. There's no way that the producers can forget you then," he adds. "After a few auditions you twig what the producers are looking for, it's all about drawing on your own strengths and looking as unique as you can."

Meanwhile the Macclesfield lad, who found love with housemate Michelle on the Channel 4 show, says he's also been coming up with other ideas for programme makers Endemol.

"The best one we had was Gold Diggers Dig for Gold," he reveals. "We would take a group of money obsessed women, and make them mine for gold in the Midwest."

Endemol are yet to take him up on the offer.

Stewart's Big Brother advice line is 0905 1202020, calls are charged at £1 per minute

Matty Gurney and friends join hundreds of hopefuls in the queue to audition for the sixth series of Big Brother, and get top tips on how to succeed from former housemate Stuart Wilson. And the programme travels to Thailand, Laos and Cambodia with Vee-TV backpackers Isabel and Clare, and hooks up with Rebecca Tadman in Australia for a taste of deaf culture down under.

What advice can this dope possibly give that we dont know already? Ive seen a lot of audition tapes of applicants that blew me away in previous series, but didnt make the final 12 beaten by zombies like Steph and Cameron.

And considering how long it takes for Stuart to mutter one sentence, anyone calling up should be prepared for a expensive phone bill.

Stu's top tip of the day: You could make LOADS of money and stuff when you leave the house.

Gee, thanks for that!

chilledbootz 30-03-2005 01:30 PM

Well 'dope' or no 'dope'. his advice line is to help people get into the house!!!. And unless i'm mistaken he was definately there.

I phoned stuarts advice line (for research purposes of course  ) and it was quite helpful

He basically explains how he got himself noticed, things like passing out flyers and wearing the bandanna.

He obviously did his research before his audition and is just passing on all the things he learnt.
