i was looking at danieleatock.com and i was in the BB8 Project and i found this fan-made Eye.

Well spotted. It's obvious he was inspired by this fan-made eye.

Nope. wrong. tonnes of the fanmade eyes have still appeared after the real BB9 eye on his site. this must be one of them.
