I usually put the title- Artists name.

Most of the time I put it with the artist first eg Madonna - Miles Away

nonono your all wrong its song then artist as the ' - ' replaces the 'by' for example

Halo by Beyonce=yessss
Beyonce by Halo=ew, no.

The hyphen has many uses.
