Anyone want a repeat of bb8 but with men?

Personaly i don't but do you think it's possible for the bb producers to pull another stunt like they did in bb8?

ILoveTRW 09-05-2009 05:16 PM

Absolutely not. The all women twist failed miserably in BB8 - it was a pointless cheap trashy gimmick that and a waste of time.

30stone 09-05-2009 05:21 PM

Id like loads of women again yes like 9 women 5 men.

But having 9 men 5 women... just no...

MarkWaldorf 09-05-2009 05:30 PM

No, that was an absolutely stupid idea - logically and commercially. Women are probably the main audience for the show (for voting and following of the series) and they'll obviously be wanting some male eye-candy to tune in for. I'm not surprised the series flopped completely.

I'm not sure what it would be like with men. It's best to stick with the mix, really.

Brekkie 09-05-2009 06:24 PM

God no, but I do wonder if BB8 would have been a different story if it had started out all with blokes.

Ultimately though BB8 failed due to the casting - the women were virtually clones of each other, barely out of school (with the obvious exceptions), while the blokes were just all a bit wet. I do think if it had started with BB9's much stronger female line up it might have made more interesting TV.

Really though this is one instance where it's clear the Elstree house just wasn't big enough to do the show justice. I'm absolutely certain that if they'd had the space the twist that year would have been two houses, with men in the one and women in the other.

No, I want 6 or 7 guys and 6 or 7 girls in from Day 1 and no-one else except to replace walkers.

I thought it worked well with the all girl start. the first couple of days were prety good. The only thing is, they waited too long to bring in males, and not enough of them.
But an all male start wouldnt work at all. It would be way too boring. Just think about it. Guys arent that bitchy with each other. It would be just plain, no drama. All girls is explosive. All guys would be the opposite.

No thanks. It didn't work with BB8, so it won't work this time either.
