To leave a loved one

This advise isn't for me - but I think it will help someone.

So you really love someone, so much, and they make you feel so happy and stuff. But what about if they are a utter ****? They be horrible to you, lie to you, even try and hurt you.

You know you shouldn't be with them; but whats the best way to move on?

You grow a pair!

I dont even mean that nasty, it's ****ing hard and people can be emotionally pair but in time you will realise and one day you will wake up and realise how much better you can do and that's when you'll be able to do it.

You will get over this.

Cut all contact with them. Literally every avenue possible. It helps you avoid speaking to them and being dragged back into the cycle of loving them again before being hurt.

I agree. I think its best if you avoid contact with them; just dont speak to them. However hard it is, try not to even speak to them as 'friends' for a few months, untill you are over them. Its so easy for 'friends' to grow in to more.

And no, the friend isn't me haha.

Change the ways, around lol.

Make them respect you or even so they start to dislike you and they end up feeling like you do. lol

Thats a good idea, sometimes it is hard to make that step though because you don't really want too... being hurt like that is almost addictive and you get over it because you still love the person.

Yeah, but I find deleting their number, deleting their msn, deleting their fb means you can't then change your mind and get dragged back into it? If you take the step once, once they're gone - you're sorted.

I find heavy drinking and hard drugs works.

I think I know who this person is [or at least there's one TiBB member it could be for]...

Anyway I've never really been in that position, so I couldn't possibly offer any pearls of wisdom. I am, however, in love with someone who doesn't feel the same, but he isn't a total wanker to me so I don't really want to move on. Though in the long run, it's really not doing me any good as it makes things awkward and nothing's ever going to happen.
