Why have there never been any Arab or Middle-Eastern people in the Big Brother house?

There's quite a lot of Arabs in our country, so why have the producers not chosen any?

Maybe the arabs who have auditioned didn't have the desired personality the producers were looking for. Just because someone is a minority doesn't mean they deserve a place in the house over people who have what producers are looking for

Seems like your making others out to be slightly racist here and the big brother producers.

They will have their reason as in generally they aren't what they are looking for.

Is it really problem they will put people in on their terms.

Somalia is arab.

I'm just curious whether people think it's a conscious decision by Channel 4 to avoid putting in people of that ethnicity into the show.

It's not about being racist, but just a conscious thing in the back of their minds to avoid any sort of controversial issue.

their personality hasnt been right or whatever. Saying that isnt saying they all have poor personalities just that BB obviously hasnt had one that has been desired.
That's like saying there hasnt been a south african, an american, a brazillian, a russian... it doesnt really matter they just get whoever is good to go in there.

How many Russians do you know that are living in the UK? Far less than Arabs. Like-wise for Brazilians.
